Day 01: Arrive Delhi BY: International Flight

Today you will arrive at Delhi’s International Airport. Following customs, immigration formalities and baggage collection, our office representative will meet you as you exit the arrivals terminal building and transfer you to your hotel.

Delhi is India’s capital and a major gateway to the country. It is a bustling metropolis, which successfully combines in its folds – the ancient with the modern. Amidst the fast spiraling skyscrapers the remnants of a bygone time in the form of its many monuments stand as silent reminders to the region’s ancient legacy. Overnight – Hotel

Day 02: Delhi City Tour

Your guide will meet you in the hotel lobby, to review the suggested itinerary and plan the pace and inclusions of your days. Today, discover Delhi in all its majesty. Enjoy unique yet fascinating experience of Old Delhi – Happily Chaotic You will visit Jama Masjid – the largest mosque of Asia, followed by a private tricycle rickshaw ride through the lanes of Chandni Chowk, also known as Silver Street. Next we shall drive past the mighty Red Fort, built by the Emperor Shah Jahan – the builder of Taj Mahal. Conclude the tour of Old Delhi with homage to the father of the nation – Mahatma Gandhi at Raj Ghat – the memorial. The discovery of New Delhi starts with visit to Qutub Minar which is Delhi’s Eiffel Tower, its Statue of Liberty and Nelson’s Column. Visit the mosques, mausoleums and ruins of forts that lie around it. Continue onto Humayun’s Tomb set in beautiful gardens. This Mughal creation popularized Persian-influenced architecture was an inspiration for the Taj Mahal. Our drive back to the hotel will be through one of the most colonial part of New Delhi called Raisina Hill. Drive past the Presidential House and India Gate – a war memorial arch. Overnight – Hotel

Day 03: Delhi – Agra (235 Km/05 hrs) By: Surface

After breakfast proceed for drive (approx. 235 Kms/5 hrs drive) to Agra. Evening, you will proceed for the breath taking sunset tour of the Taj Mahal (Closed on Fridays). Midway Tonga’s “horse carriages” would be waiting for you and will drop you at the gates of the Taj Mahal. The Taj Mahal, a UNESCO world heritage site was built in white marble in 1635 by Emperor Shahjahan as a mausoleum for his queen Mumtaz Mahal. It is a universal symbol of love, and one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Return to hotel after buffet breakfast.Later on proceed for the sightseeing tour of Red fort popularly known as Agra Fort Construction of Agra Fort was originally started by Emperor Akbar in 1565, but his son, Jehangir, and grandson, Shahjahan, later made additions. It houses the Diwan-i-Khas and Diwan-i-Aam (Halls of Private and Public Audience) and its walls are a silent witness to the rise and fall of the Imperial Mughal Empire. Overnight – Hotel

Day 05: Sawai Madhopur By: Surface

Breakfast is at the hotel. Ranthambore National Park is one of the prime examples of Project Tiger’s conservation efforts in Rajasthan. The forests around theRanthambore Fort were once, the private hunting grounds of the Maharajas of Jaipur. The Park sprawls over an estimated area of 400 sq Kms. Steep crags embrace a network of lakes and rivers, and atop one of these hills, is the impressive Ranthambore Fort, built in the 10th century. The entire forest is peppered with the battlements and spillovers of the Ranthambore Fort – tigers are said to frequent these ruins, too. As a result of stringent efforts in conservation, tigers, the prime assets of the Park, have become more and more active during the day. More than in any other park or sanctuary in India, tigers are easily spotted here in daylight. Afternoon enjoy game drive at Ranthambore National Park. Lunch, dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 06: Sawai Madhopur – Kota (140Kms/0300hrs) By: Surface

Day 07 Kota – Gagron Fort (Jhalwar) – Kota (87Kms/0130hrs) By: Surface

Breakfast at hotel. Gagron Fort is perched on a low ridge at the confluence of therivers Ahu and Kali Sindh whose water surround it on three sides. On the fourth side there used to be a deep moat completing its defenses. Gagron is among the rare forts which are both a vana and a jala durg – i.e. both water-protected and water-protected. It is surrounded by forests and has behind it the Mukundarrah range of hills. Gagron is a place which has been consecrated by the superb heroism of its Khinchi rulers and highest secrifice of their women folk. Immertal Raja Achaldas Khinchi held this fort valiantly against the Mandu ruler Hoshang Shah of Malwa. When defeat seemed imminent because of the religious treachery by the foe, Rajputs clad in saffron robe swords in hand, rushed out of the open flung gates of the fort and attained martyrdom. Day 08 Kota - Chittorgarh – Udaipur (280 Kms/0600hrs). By: Surface

After breakfast proceed for drive (approx. 280 Kms/430 hrs drive) to Udaipur. Enroute visit Chittorgarh fort.Chittorgarh Fort is the largest fort in India and the grandest in the state of Rajasthan. The fort, plainly known as Chittor, was the capital of Mewar and is today situated several kilometres by road south of Bhilwara Later on proceed towards Udaipur. Day 09: Udaipur By: Surface

After buffet breakfast, you will be taken for the half day sightseeing tour of Udaipur city. Start your tour with visit to the City Palace. 

City Palace – Built in 1725, thegrand City Palace is actually a conglomerate of eleven palaces overlooking the sprawling Lake Pichola.

Jagdish Temple – Built in 1651 by Maharaja Jagat Singh, this temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is located in the centre of the old city. The temple has a black marble image of Lord Vishnu, which is unusual for the northern part of the country, where statues of Gods are normally in marble. Sahelion-ki-bari -The spectacular garden displaying the unique lifestyle of the Royal ladies who once lived in the Palaces Evening enjoy common boat – cruise on Lake Pichola. Lake Pichola with its main attractions being the two palaces on the islands in the lake, Jag Niwas and Jag Mandir Lake Pichola is about 3 miles in length and 2 miles wide.

Jag Niwas was earlier the summer retreat of the prince of Mewar and now a five-star hotel. The city palace extends along the eastern shore of the lake and one can go for a boat ride from Bansi Ghat. Overnight – Hotel

Day 10: Udaipur – Kumbhalgarh – Ranakpur – Jodhpur (260Kms/0900hrs) By: Surface

Breakfast at hotel. Enroute visit Kumbhalgarh fort and Ranakpur temple. Kumbalgarh is a magnificent Fort, built by Rana Kumbha and it’s the birth place of Maharana Pratap , it huge in size and is Majestic , it`s the largest Fort I ever have visited , this Fort has several temples, the walls are huge , just by stepping in the fort it gives you a sense of pride and the admiration , the fort is spectacular and Grande, a must visit if you around this area, Kumbalgarh is just 80 kms drive from Udaipur, a historic fort with great sights.Later on proceed for drive to Jodhpur enroute visiting  Ranakpur Jain Temples In a shaded valley, forty miles northwest of Udaipur, are the superb Jain temples of Ranakpur. Built in the mid-15th century, the Rishabji Temple, two or three storeys high in places and topped with five large shikharas, has 1,444 pillars, each of unique design, separating the 29 halls. Jain monks following the teaching of Ahimsa, or non-violence, may be seen walking about with masks on to avoid inadvertently eating insects, or carrying a brush to sweep surfaces so as not to sit or step on bugs.On arrival check-in at hotel. Day 11: Jodhpur – Jaisalmer (285Kms/0530hrs) By: Surface

Breakfast at hotel.Later visit the Mehrangarh Fort (citadel of the Sun) that evokes the very spirit of the Rathores, the ruling local Rajput clan. Visit its various palaces with their delicate friezes and respective museums, displaying treasures of the royal family.

North of Mehrangarh Fort, and connected to it by road, Jaswant Thada is a pillared marble memorial to the popular ruler Jaswant Singh II (1878-95), who purged Jodhpur of dacoits, initiated irrigation systems and boosted the economy. The cenotaphs of members of the royal family who have died since Jaswant are close by his memorial; those who preceded him are remembered by chhatris at Mandor. After breakfast proceed for a city tour of Jaisalmer. You will walk up to The Fort, which dominates the town. Built in 1156, it is one of the oldest forts in Rajasthan. About a quarter of the old city’s population resides within the fort walls, which have 99 bastions around the circumference. Within the fort are a fine group of Jain temples built between the 12th and 15th centuries, many containing ancient manuscripts. Walk through Jaisalmer’s narrow streets dotted with ornately decorated Hindu and Jain temples.Walk around this desert city, its fort emerging from the flat dry sands, bounding in ancient palaces, temples and delicately sculpted havelis – all witness to the emergence of this Rajput state into a market centre for traders. Later afternoon, you will be driven to Sam Sand Dunes for a camelback ride into the desert to watch the sun set on this golden desert city, emitting a lustrous glow off the desert sand. Camel Safari is one of the unique ways to explore small villages in Rajasthan. Atop this ship of the desert embark on an exciting soft adventure. Breakfast at hotel.Later proceed for a sightseeing tour of Bikaner visiting Junagarh Fort, one of the most interesting forts in Rajasthan, with its sumptuously decorated interiors. Built in 1588 by Raja Rai Singh it is unusual in the sense that it was one of the few major forts of Rajasthan that was not built on a hilltop. Continue onto National Camel Breeding Farm and see the incredible sight of a herd of camels returning back after grazing, with the spectacular desert sunset in the background. Set amid rolling sand dunes, this farm is set up to produce superior strains of camels both for domestic haulage as well as, even today, for military use.Overnight – Hotel

Day 15: Bikaner – Jaipur (360Kms/0700hrs) By: Surface

Day 16: Jaipur City Tour

You will be chauffer driven to Amber Fort – the former capital of Jaipur state stunningly situated on a hillside and overlooking a lake which reflects its terraces and ramparts to add the spirit of adventure and royalty. You will ascend the fort on elephant back – the Royal path..!! (Subject to availability of Elephants)

Post Amber Fort, our tour will begin with a photo stop at Hawa Mahal – the Palace of Winds, it has no less than 953 little windows and balconies, and it is a stunning example of Rajput artistry. It was originally built to enable ladies of the royal household to watch everyday life in the streets below through the delicately honeycombed sandstone windows.

Visit the City Palace, now a museum, which was the former royal residence built in a blend of the Rajasthani and Mughal styles. It offers a superb collection of Rajasthani costumes and armoury of the Mughals and Rajputs.

Proceed to Jantar Mantar – the ancient Observatory which is acute even today..!! Built in the 17th century by the founder of Jaipur who, besides being a prince was also a soldier, astronomer and builder.Return to hotel after sightseeing tour.
