Destination Covered: Srinagar –Kargil –Leh –Pangong –Nubra Valley -Leh

Duration: 7nights & 8 Days

Day 1: ARRIVE SRINAGAR

Arrive at Srinagar, meet and assistance on arrival and transfer to Houseboat. Afternoon visit Mogul Gardens "Nishat" (The Garden of Pleasure) and "Shalimar" (Abode of All). Drive along the Lake side on Boulevard & on return visit a local Handicrafts Emporium for hand-knotted specialty silken carpets, shawls, jewellery ornaments. Also visit Shankaracharya Temple. In evening, enjoy 01 Hour Boat Ride on Dal Lake by a gondola Boat called ‘SHIKARA’ witness the ride on lake, called Venice of India & experience the aquatic life of Srinagar. While returning visit to the local crafts market and see the fine carved hand-made articles from Paper Machie & wood of a walnut. Overnight at the Deluxe Houseboat. 

Day 2: SRINAGAR - KARGIL

Leave in the morning and drive to Kargil by car road passes through the panoramic village reach Sonmarg (2740 Mtrs) After Sonmarg most rough road and wet Zojila pass 3527 Mtrs (Gateway of Ladakh). Continue drive towards Drass (The second coldest inhibited place in the world) we stop here for tea and passport check. Another two and half hours drive will take us to Kargil (2710 Mtrs) which has got its importance after opening of Ladakh for tourists in 1974. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 3: KARGIL – LEH (235 Kms)

Leave in the morning full day drive to Leh today we have to ascend three passes this day will be tiresome but panoramic too. First Buddhist village will be Mulbek. We have to cross the highest pass (Fotula 13749 ft.) on Srinagar Leh route. At lunch time we will be at Lamayuru oldest monastery. Continue drive to next village Nimu a view of Zanskar river following into Indus. Finally we reach Leh 3500 Mtrs. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 4: LEH - PANGONG LAKE

Leave early morning after breakfast leave for Pangong. Lake through Changla passes 5486 Mtrs. While ascending Changla pass 5486 mtrs enjoy the beautiful panoramic view of the villages below the pass. After crossing the pass halt for picnic lunch at Tsoltak, the summer pastureland of the yaks. Arrive Durbuk and from there a short drive takes you to the western shore of the lake. Dinner & overnight stay at Hotel / Camp in Pangong 

Day 5: PANGONG LAKE – LEH

Enjoy the landscape in the back drop of the Lake. This famous blue brackish Lake of Pangong is 5/6 Kms wide and over 144 Kms long with half of it running the other side of the "INDO CHINA BORDER". In the late afternoon drive back to Leh. Dinner & overnight stay in Leh. 

Day 6: LEH – NUBRA

Breakfast at the hotel. Early Morning Leave Leh for NUBRA VALLEY passing through Horzey & Gangles Village. The road then rises to reach Khardongla (5602 Mts.) the world's highest Motorable road & enjoy the landscape & the beautiful birds eye view of the Leh town. Halt for a picnic lunch at Khardongla village. Later proceed to Khalsar at Shyok Valley 35 Kms by drive. The road after crossing Khalsar Bridge at Shyok River enters Nubra Valley & then proceed along the Nubra River to arrive in the afternoon at Tegar or Kyegar as locally called. Meals & Overnight stay in tents at Lhari-Mo North Camp at Sumur (Kyegar & Sumur are very close by) OR AT Tirith Camp at Tirith. Dinner and overnight at the Camp. 

Day 7: NUBRA - LEH

Breakfast at the Camp. Drive back the same route for Leh with picnic lunch. On arrival in Leh, check in at the Hotel. Afternoon free for leisure. 

Day 8: LEH - DELHI (DEPARTURE)

After breakfast, check out and transfer to airport to connect the flight for your onward journey.
